Set up a Google Merchant Center account<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>First thing first, to get products listed on Google Shopping, you need to sign up for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/retail\/get-started\/?__hstc=20629287.ae74e2dbe77da811f707a01032fb9451.1588962435791.1588962435791.1588962435791.1&amp;__hssc=20629287.1.1588962435791&amp;__hsfp=2642571461#\/#%3Fmodal_active=none\">Google Merchant Center account.<\/a> This is the command center where you\u2019ll manage products, product information, and Google Shopping campaigns through Google Ads.<\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Have great product images<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Google Shopping pulls featured images from your online store and, because of that, it\u2019s more important than ever to make sure the product images on your website are ready for showtime.<\/p>\n<p>Google Shopping is, like most online shopping, a highly visual experience. Images are a big part of what makes someone click and buy a product. Google knows this and, to assure shoppers have the best experience on their platform, will actually reject Google Shopping campaigns\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/merchants\/answer\/6142776?hl=en&amp;__hstc=20629287.ae74e2dbe77da811f707a01032fb9451.1588962435791.1588962435791.1588962435791.1&amp;__hssc=20629287.1.1588962435791&amp;__hsfp=2642571461\">if the images are too low-quality<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To assure that your images make the cut, we suggest following Google\u2019s image guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use clear, even lighting<\/li>\n<li>Use a solid white, gray, or light-colored background<\/li>\n<li>Clearly show the product being sold<\/li>\n<li>Show products at the correct scale (not too big or small)<\/li>\n<li>Avoid pixelation, fading, or blurriness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These best-practices ring true for online commerce in general, but taking great product shots for your online store doesn\u2019t have to stop there. Gather and set up your product data feed\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Next to great product images, you also need to input your product data feed. Your product feed is what tells Google about your products, from their title and description to their price and availability.<\/p>\n<p>This information is essential. With it, Google can display your product to people who search for anything related to it. Their goal is to match the products displayed to a user\u2019s search intent, and the product feed is part of how they do it.<\/p>\n<p>To set up your product feed, you need to go to your Google Merchant Center account, click on\u00a0<i>Products &gt; Feeds<\/i>\u00a0and then click the blue \u201c+\u201d icon.<\/p>\n<p>The first thing you\u2019re prompted to do is enter your country and language. This will determine who sees your products, so it\u2019s very important.<\/p>\n<p>Afterward, give your product feed a name and choose how you will input your product information: using Google Sheets, a scheduled fetch, upload, or content API.<\/p>\n<p>If you select\u00a0<i>Google Sheets<\/i>, you can choose from uploading your own spreadsheet or using Google Merchant Center\u2019s template. This option also lets you set an upload schedule for updating inventory.<\/p>\n<p>The spreadsheet you upload helps Google index and display your products, so it\u2019s important that it includes the information needed to create Google Shopping ads:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>ID:<\/b>\u00a0Your product\u2019s unique identifier. If you can, use its\u00a0SKU number.<\/li>\n<li><b>Title:\u00a0<\/b>Your product\u2019s title should match its title on your website. To enhance your title, consider adding other elements someone may search for, such as its color, size, and style.<\/li>\n<li><b>Description:<\/b>\u00a0Describe your product. Only include information about the product and assure that it matches the product\u2019s description on your website.<\/li>\n<li><b>Link:\u00a0<\/b>The URL for this product on your website.<\/li>\n<li><b>Image_link:\u00a0<\/b>The URL of your product\u2019s main image.<\/li>\n<li><b>Availability:\u00a0<\/b>Your product\u2019s availability (in stock, out of stock). This should match the product availability on your website.<\/li>\n<li><b>Price:\u00a0<\/b>The price of your product, listed in the currency of the country where your product is sold.<\/li>\n<li><b>Google_product_category:\u00a0<\/b>This is the Google-defined product category. Use only the most relevant category.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brand:<\/strong>\u00a0Your product\u2019s brand name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s not all the data you\u2019ll need, though. Link to your Google AdWords account\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>When you search for a product using Google Search, the Google Shopping results at the top of the page are actually paid ads (you can tell from the\u00a0<i>Sponsored<\/i>\u00a0tag to the right of the Shopping results).<\/p>\n<p>To boost your product listings and have them featured in that coveted spot at the top of Google\u2019s search results page, you\u2019ll need to link your Google Merchant Center account to your AdWords account.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t want to pay to advertise your product listings, you don\u2019t have to, but doing so will increase their visibility with customers looking to purchase that product.<\/p>\n<h3><b>5. Create a Google Shopping campaign<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>After you\u2019ve linked your AdWords account, you\u2019re ready to create Google Shopping campaigns and advertise your products.<\/p>\n<p>Through your Google Merchant Center account, you can simply click\u00a0<i>Create Shopping Campaign<\/i>, and insert your campaign name, country of sale, and budget. Once you click Create, you\u2019ll get prompted to manage the campaign through AdWords.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever creating an AdWords campaign, you need to choose the right campaign goal. For Shopping campaigns, you can choose either\u00a0<i>Sale<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Leads,<\/i>\u00a0or\u00a0<i>Website traffic<\/i> as a goal. Google uses the campaign\u2019s goal to tailor your campaign to its objective, so it\u2019s important that you select the right goal from the get-go.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Sales campaigns:\u00a0<\/b>meant to drive online or in-store sales<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leads campaigns:<\/strong> meant to collect leads by guiding shoppers to complete a defined action.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website traffic campaigns:<\/strong>\u00a0meant to bring people who are interested in what you sell to your website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you choose your campaign\u2019s goal, you need to set the campaign type as\u00a0<i>Shopping<\/i>. Assure that your Google Merchant Center account is displayed and that your country of sale is accurate.<\/p>\n<h3><b>6. Place bids on your Google Shopping campaign<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Once you proceed, the next screen shows your campaign settings. From here, you need to enter your campaign\u2019s name, select your bidding strategy and set your campaign budget.<\/p>\n<p>Bidding is essentially you telling Google the amount you\u2019re willing to pay for a conversion or cost per action (CPA).<\/p>\n<p>From this screen, you\u2019ll also need to set your campaign budget, which is the amount of money you want to spend on average per day. But be aware: the amount you spend isn\u2019t capped per day. Rather, Google manages your budget on a monthly cadence. Determine to target and schedule your shopping campaign<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The last step to setting up your Google Shopping campaign is selecting targeting and scheduling your campaign. This step will determine who sees ads for your products and when they see them.<\/p>\n<p>Under\u00a0<i>\u0639\u062f\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0648\u0627\u0642\u0639<\/i>, select locations where you can ship orders to. Assure that you\u2019re able to fulfill orders for the areas you select.<\/p>\n<p>Next, set the start and end dates for your campaign. This is the timeframe where your SHopping ads will get seen by people searching for that item or something similar.<\/p>\n<h3><b>8. Create your ad groups\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve finished setting your Shopping campaign settings, it\u2019s time to build ad groups.<\/p>\n<p>There are two types of ad groups to choose from Product Shopping ads and Showcase Shopping ads. While Product Shopping ads are great for promoting a single product, Showcase Shopping ads allow you to advertise multiple products.<\/p>\n<p>Once you select your ad group and click Save, your Google Shopping campaign is submitted and your products will be displayed in search results relevant to the products you\u2019re advertising.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"section5\"><b>The benefits of Google Shopping<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The biggest advantages to selling through Google Shopping can be broken down into five components:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Easy to use<\/li>\n<li>Generate more sales<\/li>\n<li>Quickly measure campaign effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>1. Easy to use<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The benefit of using Google Shopping is that it\u2019s relatively easy to set up and, if ever you need help, Google\u2019s support pages are insanely informative. If you have the necessary product data and have an idea of where you\u2019d like to sell and how much you\u2019re willing to spend, you can set up a Google Shopping campaign within a few hours.<\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Generate more sales<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Google Shopping listings are another way for you to reach customers and sell to them.
